Tour update - post Boise
After staying with Pat in the beautiful mountains of Colorado we
headed to SLC.
headed to SLC.
Our show was at an anarchist collective house called Boing! Everyone
was super friendly and the show was really fun. Drug Shit was awesome
and exploded a huge cigarette piniata during their set and it was a
chaotic mess of silly string candy moshing and a minor threat covers.
They shared members with the other 2 edge bands and other covers
played were Fed Up and I like boys hardcore or whatever that limp
wrist song is called. Shit ruled! Sick
Fix played next and the infoshop shelves toppled. More sick living
room mosh!
After our set I tried to go to a highly reccommended organic veg
restaurant called Sage's but got there too late... No big since after
the show the kids took us to The Pie for some amazing vegan pizza!
Someone may comment on the minor thug drama but I missed it...
In the morning I guess everyone was somewhat rudely woken by a
dumpster smorgasboard... Tried to recharge the AC in the van but I
guess it didn't last the whole trip which was hot as hell but it was a
nice relief to drive with the windows up.
In Boise we got to town and rereshed ourselves in the 40 degree? River
and then went to the show.
After the show everyone crashed out... I sent out pleas for veggie oil
to everyone I could find and then laud down in my "bed" yes.... I have
slept in the van every night so far.
Around 1 am I got called by a dude in the Boise area and went to get a
tank of veg oil off him for 1.35 a gallon. Sick.
Got back at 3am.
Woke up and then went to an auto parts store to get more AC stuff. As
i type this I must say the AC is still working and feels amazing.
Also jumped in the cold but refreshing river again right before we left.
Onward to Seattle rockin to Suicidal w nicktape at the helm of the SS
AgentOrange. Looking forward to friends and vegan eats in Seattle!
